MAUDSLAY IS HAUNTED - OCT 17 & 18, 2015 (Rain date Oct 24 & 25)

The gates are open from 2 - 4 pm.  Theater in the Open’s notorious annual haunting of Maudslay! Join a cast of all ages for a one-hour walk through eerie vignettes, spooky sketches and haunting scenes, all in the autumn grandeur of Maudslay State Park. Discover parts of the park you never knew existed. Bring the whole family for a variety of tricks and treats.
This is a family event intended for all ages.
Where: Maudslay State Park (map and directions), Newburyport, MA 01950
Allow for a brief walk from the parking lot and follow the Frankenstein signs. Parking in the Maudslay State Park lot, $5.00 fee.


The Interpreter Program at Maudslay offers a full range of activities to help you enjoy the many features of the Park.  From garden tours, to strolls on the many trails and path, to activities just for the junior Park lovers, there is something for everyone on the calendar throughout the summer and fall.

The MSPA Equestrian Group is sponsoring their annual CHILI DAY FUNDRAISER on November 23, 2014, the Sunday following Thanksgiving.  The event centers around the equestrian users of the park, but participation is open to all user groups.  Walkers and bike riders are welcome to tour the park and join the Group for the after ride meal.  The entry fee includes a continental breakfast in the morning and a meal with Mike's Famous Chili featured after the event.
